NEW Stations of the Cross?

Lent is over, well, at least according to Catholic calendar. Although it's over for year 2010, a catholic can still do his/her own lent (I'm referring to penance and works of reparation) anytime throughout the year.

A lot of changes has been happening in the Roman Catholic church. One of them, is the Stations of the cross. The modernists are continuously flexing their skills in causing 'diabolical disorientation' and they have not spared the 'Passion of our Lord'. Probably, more changes are in the making...(sigh!). I read somewhere (one of the books exposing modernist tactics) that modernists are not fond of the 'Suffering' of our Lord. They prefer the 'Resurrection'. But of course they don't want to make it look obvious!!! We know that the saints become saints because of their daily meditation in the 'Passion of Our Lord'. To cut the story short, one can see and judge for himself by looking at these pictures of the NEW stations of the cross. Pictures are worth a thousand words...

Now compare the NEW stations with the OLD stations...do you see any difference? You can visit pictures of the OLD stations of the cross here. This book, 'The New Way of the Cross' (see the cover of the book above) is widely sold at the Pauline's or Daughters of St. Paul bookstores. After you have read this posting, you may want to PONDER, PRAY and LISTEN to what God has to say to you about these changes...

"Hear, O foolish people, and without understanding: who have eyes and see not; and ears but hears not." - Jeremiah 5:21

The saints became saints because they made daily Stations of the Cross by using the OLD ones. Are the NEW Stations really necessary? Are they better than the old ones? Will these changes create more saints? What justification do the modernists have that made them see it fit to change the OLD Stations? I see more changes, more novelties, and also more common sense is thrown out of the window!
